This is the hop-head’s year-round brew. Along with Pale 2-row malt, this Pale Ale contains Flaked Oats and Carapils to give the beer a smooth, pillowy body. Citra and Mosaic hops provide the beer’s aroma and flavor with a beautiful bouquet of floral and citrus notes and a soft bitterness, generating a wonderfully hoppy brew that gets better with each sip. With the ever popular pair of Citra and Mosaic hops leading the way, this Pale Ale is anything but ordinary!
This recipe pack includes grains, hops (Mosaic and Citra), yeast, muslin straining bag for grains, priming sugar, no-rinse sanitizer, and complete set of instructions. This ingredient pack was designed to pair perfectly with any of our one (or two) gallon Box Brew kits.

This is my second kit, so I knew a little more with what to expect. I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. I've just completed the fermentation and bottling. This time I stirred the carbonating sugar before bottling. In my first batch I just added the sugar and discovered when I went to drink it, that it was laying undissolved at the bottom of the bottle. Hence minimal foaming. Now to wait a week to drink and see if the stirring helped.
My husband and I love citrusy IPAs, and even though this was a Pale Ale, it's right up there with some of the New England IPAs we've had. Mosaic and Citra hops are awesome. Great recipe.
