Deluxe Mahogany Winemaker's Gift Set – Box Brew Kits

Deluxe Mahogany Winemaker's Gift Set

1 review

Finding and tasting great wine is something we all love to do. But it’s quite a different experience when you’re sipping and sharing wine you made yourself. Yes, believe it or not, it’s possible to microbrew really big reds in even the tightest of spaces. In just about 4 weeks, you could be enjoying your own Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay—you name it.

We find that wine lovers are particularly difficult to buy gifts for. Rather than pushing something onto them they probably won’t like, we wanted to give them the option to choose their own (wine) destiny. That’s why we came up with the Deluxe Winemaker's Gift Set. Each handcrafted kit is built in the Boston area from beautiful, rich mahogany, and finished with a coat of natural tung oil. Our wine making kits are perfect for beginner and veteran vintners, and require no additional equipment

The Deluxe Winemaker's Gift Set comes with everything needed to brew 2 1-gallon batches of wine in fine style. Not only can you monogram up to 12 characters right on the kit for a personalized gift, you also get to choose two of the following ingredient packs: Chilean Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Moscato, Australian Chardonnay, and Italian Pinot Grigio.

2 1-Gallon Wine Making Ingredient Kits of your choice

We offer several 1-gallon ingredient kits from World Vineyard - they pair wonderfully with the equipment included in your Box Brew Kit, and make fantastic wine from fresh, concentrated grape juice from around the world. Each kit includes a large juice bag, wine yeast, clarifying agents to brighten and preserve your wine, no-rinse sanitizer, corks, and a full set of instructions. Pick any two from the following options:

Chilean Merlot

Originating from the world famous Maipo Valley wine region in Chile, this reputable Merlot is a soft and supple variation with powerful fruit and spicy flavors. Renowned for its ripe cherry character, the Merlot is a perfect partner for red meats, lamb, and hearty stews. A must have on those crisp autumn evenings.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Enjoy one gallon of fruity and complex Cabernet Sauvignon from fresh California grapes.

Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir creates a lasting impression on the palate with an intense ripe-grape and black cherry aroma, accented by a spicy suggestion of cinnamon and mint. Medium-full bodied and rich but not heavy, it's perfectly balanced with alcohol acid and tannin working harmoniously, and has substantial flavor despite its delicacy. It has an appealing soft, velvety texture, like liquid silk gently caressing the palate.

Lush, fruity, and delightfully sweet with juicy peach and tropical fruit flavors.

Australian Chardonnay

Supple and slightly buttery, this wine lingers on the palate with layers of toast and spice. Extremely versatile with foods, this is the "red wine of white wines," combining beautifully with grilled pork, chicken, fish, salads and cream-based pasta sauces.

Italian Pinot Grigio

The Italians have their own way with the Pinot Gris grape variety, and in the process they create a special magic with it that's unmatched elsewhere in the wine world. Though dry in character and with a pleasant zip of acidity, this Pinot Grigio shows off a pleasant floral fragrance and tremendous fruit flavors, making it the perfect picnic accompaniment.
